Description

The Mitsubishi MELSERVO-J5 HK-RT Series Rotary Servo Motor is an ultra-low inertia, medium capacity motor suited to ultra-high-thoughput material handling systems. This series can operate as a replacement for the HG-RR Series, with more compact dimensions, and a 26-bit battery-less absolute position encoder. Thanks to these standard-issued encoders, technicians can configure absolute position systems without the need for additional components. The battery-less design also eliminates the need for battery replacement, reducing associated maintenance costs. Standard, as well as flat structure types are available upon request, with rated speeds up to 3000 rpm (maximum speeds of 6700rpm).

The HK-RT Series power supply, encoder, and electromagnetic brake cables feature one-touch lock functionality for easy installation, eliminating the need for tightening screws(screw-tightened connections are also supported). A single connector combining those three cables is available with the 1 and 2kW output models, offering more flexible mounting configurations. 200V and 400V class models are available to accommodate various power requirements (contact a Motion World engineer to confirm required specifications). This combination of compact design and and maintenance-free operation makes the HK-RT Series an ideal solution for a range of automated manufacturing environments.
