The Mitsubishi MELSERVO-J5 HK-KT Series Rotary Servo Motor is a low inertia, small capacity motor suited to various applications including belt drives, robots, mounters, X-Y tables, semiconductor and battery manufacturing systems. This series is an upgrade to the HG-KR and HG-JR Series, with more compact dimensions, and a 26-bit battery-less absolute position encoder. Thanks to these standard-issued encoders, technicians can configure absolute position systems without the need for additional components. The battery-less design also eliminates the need for battery replacement, reducing associated maintenance costs. Standard and flat structure types are available, with rated speeds up to 3000 rpm (maximum speeds of 6700rpm).

The all-in-one single connector design of the HK-KT Series combines motor power supply, encoder, and the electromagnetic brake into a single cable with a one-touch lock functionality for easy installation. The product line is also compatible with dual cable configurations, with flexible mounting options. 200V and 400V class models are available to accommodate various power requirements (contact a Motion World engineer to confirm required specifications). This combination of compact design, simplified wiring, and maintenance-free operation makes the HK-KT Series an ideal solution for a range of automated manufacturing environments.
