Description
The Piab PX Series Vacuum Suction Cup is a robust design optimized for safe handling of workpieces with coarse, textured or uneven surfaces. The EPDM sealing edge combined with the rigid fitting plate and internal support pattern creates a stable, adaptable grip on challenging materials like dry checker plate, ornamental glass or broken natural stone. This sealing element is locked into the fitting plate, but is readily replaceable when worn.
Contact surfaces are gentle, reducing likelihood of marks, dents and permanent deformation. The threaded connection in the fitting plate enables direct vacuum hookup or optional cone valves. The cone valve variant activates the cup only at pick, reducing air consumption by automatically deactivating cups that are not in contact with the workpiece. The range of diameters available, and low internal volume for quick evacuation enables the PX Series to integrate fits into new and existing automation solutions.
