The Mitsubishi MELSERVO-JET Series Rotary Servo Motor offers low inertia, small capacity (HG-KNS), and medium inertia, medium capacity (HG-SNS) motor configurations suited to a range of automated applications including Semiconductor/FPD/photovoltaic manufacturing systems, X-Y tables, robotics, feeders and sliders, food processing and packaging machines, press machines and more. The HG-KNS model offers rated speeds up to 3000 rpm (6000rpm max), whereas the HG-SNS model features rated speeds up to 2000rpm (3000rpm max). This series features the same dimensions, and is compatible with the same power and encoder cables of the MELSERVO-JE HG-KN and HG-SN Series.

The HG-KNS and KH-SNS Series integrate a standard-issued 22-bit absolute feedback encoder that operates at 4,194,304 pulses per revolution. Thanks to these inbuilt encoders, technicians can configure absolute position detection systems without additional components beyond a battery.
