The Mitsubishi MELSERVO-J4 LM-K2 Series Linear Servo Motor Primary Side is the coil section of a core-type magnetic synchronous motor built for use in electronic assembly and material handing applications. This product line is built to operate at a maximum of 2 meters per second. Continuous thrust is available up to 2400N, with maximum thrust up to 6000N(depending on model). This product line can be configured for clean environments since the design does not depend on ball screw, eliminating the potential for grease contamination. The LM-K2 Series also removes transmission mechanisms from the motor, including backlash, for smooth, quiet operation even at higher speeds. This servo motor series operates via a magnetic attraction counter-force, requiring at least two blocks of an identical secondary side (magnet).
