The Mitsubishi MELSERVO-J5 HK-ST Series Rotary Servo Motor is an medium inertia, medium capacity motor suited to various applications including material handling systems, robots, X-Y tables, and battery manufacturing systems. This series can operate as a replacement for the HG-SR, HG-JR, and HG-UR Series, with more compact dimensions, and a 26-bit battery-less absolute position encoder. Thanks to these standard-issued encoders, technicians can configure absolute position systems without the need for additional components. The battery-less design also eliminates the need for battery replacement, reducing associated maintenance costs. Standard, as well as flat structure types are available upon request, with rated speeds up to 3000 rpm (maximum speeds of 4000rpm).

The HK-ST Series power supply, encoder, and electromagnetic brake cables feature one-touch lock functionality for easy installation, eliminating the need for tightening screws. 200V and 400V class models are available to accommodate various power requirements (contact a Motion World engineer to confirm required specifications). This combination of compact design and and maintenance-free operation makes the HK-ST Series an ideal solution for a range of automated manufacturing environments.
