The SICK LD-LRS Series Lidar and Radar Sensor features scanning ranges of up to 250m, ideal for use with quat cranes in automatic ship loading operations. The high-performance laser optics system operates via non-contact scanning of a container stack, detecting obstacles impeding movement. The LD-LRS Series gathers precise measurement data points to determine the container stack profile--including a 3D model rendering of bulk materials--ensuring reliable handling during loading, reducing overall time in loading ports.
