The SICK S100 Series Lidar and Radar Sensor is designed as a solution for reliable object detection of damaged goods and defective machines that can inhibit or stop processes, reducing potential system downtimes. This 2D LiDAR sensor was developed specifically for fields of application in which personal protective equipment is not required. The S100 Series detects faults, monitors distances, and prevents possible collisions of AGVs. The 270° scanning angle makes it ideal for both horizontal and vertical applications, with flexible mounting thanks to connectivity via the back and bottom of the device. Diagnostics are easily compiled thanks to the 7-segment sensor display.
