Description

The SICK RFID Series Transponder operates via high frequency (HF) or ultra-high frequency (UHF) bands. These RFID transponder tags work passively and use the energy of the device for data transmission. Both HF and UHF transponders follow a global standard to permit maximum flexibility. The vast range of transponders in size, mounting and read range enable its use in a variety of applications. The RFID tags can save up to 64 bits of data, with a read range up to 10m. Combined with RFID read/write devices, they create reliable and future-proof identification solutions.

Applications

  • High-temperature applications in paint lines
  • Identification of containers and pallets
  • Identification of vehicles and trains
