The SICK RFU62x Series RFID Reader is a UHF RFID read/write device with a range up to 2m. The transponder communication is compliant with standard ISO/IEC18000-6C (EPC Class 1 Gen 2). Each unit is configurable via the SOPAS user interface or by sending ASCII commands directly. The well-defined, restricted range is especially suited for automated identification over small object distances. The durable IP67 rated enclosure ensures reliable operation in harsher environments. The RFU62x Series is compatible with SICK's AppSpace, permitting additional flexibility in programming individual software solutions.
