Description
The SICK GLS100 Series Image-based Code Reader is built to automatically navigate and localize automated guided vehicles (AGVs) or mobile platforms. The integrated camera offers consistent and accurate detection and decoding of color tapes and 2D codes. 2D code types include QR codes, Data Matrix single codes, multicodes as well as code tapes. Detectable codes can also be applied in the form of a grid when utilizing the GLS100 Series. Communication with a controller or PC occurs through a CANopen or Modbus RTU interface, which permits relocalization and repositioning of an AGV based on code reader data. This product line is an affordable, adaptable solution and enhancement option for the reliable navigation of various AGV systems.
Applications
- Industry and logistics
