The SICK IDM Series Handheld Barcode Scanner reliably detects 1D, 2D and stacked codes, such as PDF417. Variants include wireless and cable connection variants, with various ingress protections including IP65. Wireless models are battery-free, with a quickly rechargeable supercapacitor. This series also offers extensive connection modules for fieldbus compatibility. Additional accessories may be required with some communication interfaces (contact a Motion World engineer for details). These devices meet both the simple and demanding requirements of industrial applications and are suitable for a variety of fields of application and ambient conditions, with an operating range of –20 to 50°C. The light, ergonomic shape and read confirmation ensures the IDM Series is easy to operate.
