The SICK T4000 Multi Series Safety Switch is a monitoring system designed for use with applications where high level protections against tampering is required. This transponder switch product line is comprised of three components, including an evaluation
unit, up to 4 sensors and up to 4 coded actuators. With each external evaluation unit able to host up to four sensors at a time, the T4000 Multi Series is an economic, space-saving solution. With the multicoded switch variant, any valid actuator can be located within the sensing range. With the unique coded variant, only individually coded actuators with the matching code will be located within the response range, which also increases tampering protections. The T4000 Multi Series features a high level of machine availability due to tolerance for door misalignment, shocks and vibrations.
