The SICK RE1 Series Safety Switch operates through coded magnetic actuation of the complementary NC/NO reed contacts or equivalent N/O reed contacts. These switches are used in areas where a high level of contamination occurs. They are simple to clean, thereby enabling high standards of hygiene. Their principle of operation enables greater tolerances, making them well-suited for applications where precise guidance of guards is difficult.
