Description
The SICK Glare Series Sensor is equipped to detect and differentiate objects based on gloss, and is well-suited to use in control production processes. The Glare Series analyzes spatial distribution of reflected light using Delta-S technology, which calculates the gloss level. Units come with two digital push-pull outputs and one configurable input. Teach-in occurs via the optional single teach-in button or SOPAS operating software. Data can be transmitted to the controller via switching outputs, or the optional IO-Link. The Glare’s IO-Link interface enables integration with the machine controller, enabling automatic, process-oriented configuration and online diagnostics.
