The SICK WFM Series Fork Sensor is a plug-and-play sensor model designed for operation straight out of the box. This product family is an adaptable solution for various applications, including part detection in production, and/or intralogistic processes. The WFM36 model in particular is specialized for use with shuttle positioning in racks. This variant's housing dimensions can be customized to meet specific installation requirements(contact a Motion World engineer for further details). The sender and received are integrated into the same, durable IP67-rated aluminum enclosure, which paired with the red light alignment aid, eliminates an extensive setup process. Fork widths are available in 30 up to 180mm variants, with depths from 40 to 120mm. PNP and NPN switching outputs are available, with light or dark switching modes. Units are equipped with a yellow receiver indicator of switching behavior, which is visible from all the way around the unit.
