The SICK WFL Series Fork Sensor features a Class 1 Laser with through-beam detection measurement, eliminating the need for adjustments prior to operation. The sender and receiver are enclosed in the same IP65-rated housing, reducing alignment process complexities. The 100μs response time and high resolution makes this series ideally suited for the detection of objects as small as needles and wires. The WFL Series is also a reliable application solution for transparent materials. Units come with an integrated IO-Link, with certain variants offering advanced functions including decentralized debouncing, and time measurement or a high-speed counter.
