The SICK CMB Series Proximity Sensor is a capacitive proximity sensor designed for reliable detection of objects and levels regardless of color, reflectance or gloss of surfaces. They can detect powdery, granulated, liquid and solid materials through non-metallic walls made of plastic or glass. The sensors feature extremely high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), which prevents switching errors and reduces downtime. Thanks to the IO-Link interface, different parameterizations can be performed and detailed data read out. This makes the CMB Series suitable for more complex applications and enables predictive maintenance.
