The SICK CM Series Proximity Sensor is a capacitive proximity sensor designed for the detection of objects and levels regardless of color, reflectance or gloss of the surfaces. They can detect powdery, granulated, liquid, and solid materials through non-metallic walls made of plastic or glass. These sensors feature high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), which prevents switching errors, reducing downtime. The variants with a PTFE housing are ideal for detecting the levels of chemical compounds, such as acids or solvents.
