The Aventics PEL / PDL Series Portal Axis is a durable, precise gantry axis set with single (PEL), or double (PDL) guides available. The double guide ensures durability with highly rigid configurations. Repeatability is within 0.05mm with all models, and can be further refined to within 0.02mm with external position measuring systems.

PEL20 variants feature a compact axis for high masses, with application flexibility due to the comprehensive drilling pattern. The direct drive ensures a long service life. PDL30 variants include high torsion stiffness thanks to the double guide design. The robust design is highly durable, and is well suited for area booms. PDL40 variants offer maximum speeds down to 2m/s, and can withstand peak forces over 1000N.
