The SICK PBS plus Series Pressure Sensor combines the functionality of an electronic pressure switch, transmitter and display in one unit. This product line is available with up to two switching outputs, analog output and IO-Link. It is set using three large pushbuttons and the display, or via the IO-Link. The housing can twist at the display and the electrical connection, for optimal alignment in various mounting scenarios. Measuring ranges include 0.4 bar up to 1,000 bar (gauge pressure). Bar is the default unit of measurement, but can be switched to psi, MPa, and kg/cm2. Variants also include absolute and compound pressure ranges. The PBS plus is highly resistant to corrosion due to the fully-welded stainless steel membrane. Process data is transmitted to the controller via IO-Link. The diagnostic options make it possible for temperature values to be read out in Celsius, and for minimum and maximum values for temperature and pressure to be monitored.
