Description
The SICK UP56 Series Level Sensor operates off of a non-contact, ultrasonic measurement principle, with extensive housing materials to reliably protect the sensor component across a wide range of applications, including stainless steel, and PVDF. The PTFE-protected transducer is pressure resistant up to 6 bar and also very resistant to difficult media. As a result of this durable construction, the UP56 Series can provide reliable monitoring of aggressive, viscose, inhomogeneous or abrasive liquids and bulk materials. With the combination of two switching signals in one device, idling and overfill states can be monitored at the same time. With the analog output and switching signal, continuous measurement with a separate overfill signal can also be configured. Adjustment of the sensor is straightforward using the integrated display, IO-Link, or a Connect+ adapter.
Applications
- Equalizing and compensating reservoirs
- Fill level of wet chemical processes in the electronics and solar industry
- Fill level of feed tanks for the additional dosing of acids and alkalines
- Level monitoring of bulk materials
