Description

The SICK LFV200 Series Level Sensor is a vibrating level switch designed for the detection of pre-defined levels in liquid systems. This includes overfill detection as well as monitoring when a container or piping fill levels are running low. This product series can be used with all liquids, with no medium calibration necessary. The stainless steel tuning fork, paired with an aseptic process connection ensures durable performance with reliable readings, even in applications with strict hygiene requirements. The LFV230 variant offers an extended pipe connection up to 1,200mm. IO-Link variants are available, permitting remote monitoring of the oscillation frequency, amplitude and temperature as well as the switching signal. This enables extended diagnostics and predictive maintenance.

Applications

  • Storage tanks, release agent tanks, CIP reservoirs
  • Pouring machine supply lines
  • Hydraulic and coolant systems
