Description
The SICK SFS/SFM60 Series Motor Feedback System is an optical high-resolution feedback system with hollow shaft and tapered shaft designs. These systems come in singleturn and multiturn configurations, with 1024 sine/cosine periods per revolution. This series of products are well suited for use with self- and force-ventilated synchronous motors. These motor feedback systems use globally standardized interfaces, for maximum flexibility and plug-and-play installation. The rugged shaft bearing increases the service life whilst simultaneously reducing maintenance requirements and costs. These feedback systems also achieves optimum concentricity and low levels of vibration even at maximum operating speeds. SFS60S and SFM60S variants include SIL2 / Pl d safety level certification.
