The SICK DFS2x Series Incremental Encoder is a line of high-resolution encoders, with up to 65,536 pulses per revolution, and industry standard 2 and 2.5in mechanical interfaces. This product line is available as factory-configured or programmable devices. Factory-configured models can be ordered with TTL, HTL, or open-collector outputs. Programmable encoders allow selection of integer resolution and either TTL or HTL outputs. DFS2x Series encoders incorporate durable internal technology which permits reliable operation over a wide temperature range, with high levels of shock and vibration resistance. The flexibility and reliability of these encoders allows confident standardization on a single encoder platform for position sensing across a wide variety of applications.
