The SICK DFS60S Pro Series Encoder is an incremental encoder for functional safety, certified to SIL2, SILCL2, and PL d. The DBS60 ensures reliable execution of complex safety functions combined with SICK's Flexi Soft FX3-MOC motion control modules: safe stop 1 (SS1), safe stop 2 (SS2), safe operating stop (SOS), safe speed monitoring (SSM), safely limited speed (SLS), safe direction (SDI), and safe brake control (SBC). Units are housed in a durable enclosure with an IP65 rating. The DFS60S Pro Series mechanical interfaces include: face mount flanges, servo flanges, and blind hollow shafts.
