Description

The SICK Flexi Soft Series Safety Controller provides reliable solutions for both simple and complex applications thanks to the versatile offerings of main, I/O, digital, analog, relay, and gateway modules. This highly configurable product family offers vast buildability to meet the specific needs of networked safety systems, with quick connection via spring-loaded terminals. Flexi Soft enables functionality for safe controller networking, safe series connection, or safe drive monitoring. The Flexi Soft Designer configuration software provides a user friendly interface for adjustment of settings, documentation of events and diagnostics of connected sensors. Pairing with SICK's Flexi Loop safe connection enables the integration of up to 32 sensors in series. The Flexi Soft can further be outfitted for complex, safe-connection application requirements through features such as Safe EFI-Pro communication.

Integration into higher-level controllers can be accomplished via the gateway modules, with support offered for all common fieldbuses. Flexi Soft variants can also connect to sensors operating with analog output signaling, making them ideal for driving speed and temperature monitoring, as well as fall protection for automated guide vehicles.
