Description

The SICK TR110 Lock Series Safety Switch combines high manipulation protection of RFID technology for monitoring the actuator with the durability of a mechanical locking device. The self-monitoring semiconductor outputs (OSSDs) with PL e (EN ISO 13849) offer a high level of safety, in door and lock monitoring. An optional escape release enables unlocking of the locking device from within the hazardous area. Certain variants integrate two illuminable pushbuttons, which can be used to trigger control signals such as door requests or resets directly on the safety switch. Safe series connection variants available.

Applications

  • Hazardous areas with fully body or partial body access
  • Protection of persons in the event of the machine overrun movements
  • Applications requiring a high level of manipulation protection
  • Applications requiring a high locking force
