Description

The SICK TR10 Lock Series Safety Switch combines outstanding manipulation-proofing for the RFID technology that monitors the actuator, plus a high-strength mechanical locking mechanism. The sensor’s self-monitoring semiconductor outputs (OSSDs) can be cascaded and ensure safety thanks to the PL e performance level (EN ISO 13849), for both door monitoring and locking monitoring. Two actuator coding levels are available, affording applications more flexibility. The universally coded sensors accept all suitable actuators, whereas uniquely coded variants only allow actuators that have previously been taught in. The bistable solenoid coil consumes only a small amount of power, producing no heat when the system is either locked or unlocked. Safe series connection available.

Applications

  • Hazardous areas with fully body or partial body access
  • Protection of persons in the event of the machine overrun movements
  • Applications requiring a high level of manipulation protection
  • Applications requiring a high locking force
