The SICK IN4000 Standard Series Safety Switch are inductive safety switches that monitor position, and operate on a non-contact measuring principle. These switches are actuated through ST37 steel, eliminating the need for a separate actuator. A single channel operation method occurs as a pulsed input signal is converted into a pulsed output signal that is evaluated by a safety controller. The response time of the sensors is monitored spatially and chronologically, enabling improved prevention against tampering, with  high safety protections. The IN4000 Standard Series is easily adjusted, with straightforward mounting, with increased shock and vibration resistance.
