The SICK IQB2S Series Safety Switch is an inductive-based sensor used for area monitoring and safe position detection. The highly compact design features a wide range of connection variants for adaptable integration into various machine designs. This product family operate on a non-contact measuring principle, and are low-wear. The IQB2S Series design eliminates the need for a separate actuator to complete monitoring tasks. They are generally activated by metals. These safety switches can be connected to a safe control solution via the OSSD safety outputs, allowing for high safety with PL d (EN ISO 13849).
