Description

The SICK M4000 Standard A/P Series Safety Scanner is a multiple beam safety device that provides an economical solution for access control. This model is available in active or passive units, with the option of purchasing them as a set. Each unit can have 2 or 4 beams and active units feature a scanning range of either 4.5 or 7.5m depending on the model. The rugged design of the M4000 series allows high system throughput, even under difficult ambient conditions.

The M4000 series features intelligent wiring and numerous functions, making it an economical choice that reduces installation time. The functions are user-friendly and set with the configuration keys on the device. The integrated functions and status indications allow quick commissioning that minimizes machine downtime. It also features external device monitoring (EDM), which supports restart interlock and application diagnostic output functions.

The M4000 series has a modular concept that can adapt to numerous application requirements, and provides a high level of machine security. It can be paired with sens:Control devices and various accessories to create a packaged solution designed specifically for industrial environments.
