The SICK MLG-2 WebChecker Series Automation Light Grid offers an optimized solution for high-precision web width measurement. This system is designed to be able find and measure up to 10 edges against a reference edge. Up to 5 distinct webs can be measured by the MLG-2 WebChecker Series concurrently, with reliable measurement of inner edges even with semi-transparent materials. The modular design permits use in various application areas, with versatility for required interfaces, and ranges. The MLG-2 WebChecker Series communicates with different controllers, and so the user can easily adjust the needed format between various fieldbuses or IO-Link channels.
