The SICK UFW Series Fork Sensor offers variants in 30 or 60mm fork widths, and is a well-equipped solution for non-contact web edge guiding applications. The ultrasonic measuring principle permits the reliable and highly precise detection of various materials down to .01mm resolution, including light-sensitive and transparent mediums. The teach-in button offers straightforward adjustment, with the IO-Link interface as an additional method of configuration and monitoring. The analog output can switch between 4 to 20mA (current) and 0 to 10V (voltage). Three integrated LEDs  indicate the position status of the material within the fork.
