Tech Specs
Description
The SICK UF Series Fork Sensor operates off of ultrasonic detection, ensuring accurate and reliable reading of various materials and labels. Thanks to the functional principle design, detection is not limited by transparent, opaque, or printed materials. The UF Series utilizes damping in its detection process through the sending and receiving of sound waves. The fast response times and reliable accuracy translate to various environments, with a durable IP65 rated aluminum enclosure for protection against harsher conditions. Distinct labels can be detected with as little as 2mm spacing, and single vs two-ply materials can be distinguished. The response time of as low as 250µs ensures highly accurate detection, regardless of operational speed. Adjustment is quick and easy through a teach-in, or plus/minus buttons.
