The Festo CPX Series Electronics Module is a series of digital or analog input, output, and input/output modules. This series ensures fast troubleshooting/diagnostics thanks to various LED status indicators on the bus node and all I/O modules. Additional diagnostic support is available via the integrated web server/monitor, or via the maintenance tool which communicates with PCs via USB adapter. SMS and email alert notification is available. The parameterization optimizes commissioning and adjustments to application needs. 

These systems can accommodate up to 9 I/O modules(plus the bus node). The CPX Series can be configured for compatibility with all fieldbus protocols and Ethernet. Digital variants are available in 4-way, 8-way or 16-way, with optional individual channel diagnostics. The analog variants offer  2-way or 4-way, with an optional Hart protocol. The modular design of the CPX Series ensures quick connection and/or replacement of modules without the need to change out wiring.
