The Moxa IKS-6726A Series Modular Managed Ethernet Switch is designed for the rigorous demands of mission-critical applications such as traffic control systems and maritime applications. The base Ethernet interface integrates eight 10/100BaseT(X) ports, and two combo Gigabit/Ethernet ports (10/100/1000BaseT(X) or 100/1000BaseSFP), with two slots for interface modules with 6 to 8 fast Ethernet ports (10/100BaseT(X), 100BaseFX, or 100BaseSFP). SFP modules sold separately (see Accessories tab).
IKS-6726A Series network redundancy technology layers Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, and STP/MSTP/RSTP protocols. Management functions include IGMP snooping, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, port-based VLAN, QoS, RMON, bandwidth management, port mirroring, and warning by email or relay. Network security standards integrate TACACS+, SNMPv3, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, and SSH protocols.
The IKS-6726A Series Gigabit and fast Ethernet backbone, redundant ring, and single or dual isolated 110/220VAC dual power supplies increase communication reliability and reduce overall wiring costs. The modular design makes network planning and expansion easy. The metal housing has an IP30 rating, with a -40 to 75°C operating temperature range. Each unit meets CE, FCC, DNV and EN 50121-4 standards.
